Brewing

Brewing stations, tea plants, brewed tea effects, and plant routes in Bridger Western.

Updated Apr 20, 2026

Brewing is a field-gathering system built around glowing tea plants and kettles near campsites. It is not a replacement for core gear, but the tea effects are strong enough to matter before planned fights, long routes, or risky encounter farming.

How Brewing Works

  1. Find a tea plant around the map.
  2. Carry the plant to a campsite kettle.
  3. Interact with the kettle while holding the plant.
  4. Wait for the kettle to boil.
  5. Interact again to collect the brewed tea.

Brewing plants have a subtle glow, which makes them easier to spot while roaming.

Tea Plant Locations

Available plants are split by environment.

EnvironmentPlants
GrassDeerheart Root, Turtleshell Stem, Hawkeye Herb
SandSunblessed Leaf, Reservoir Root, Hellfire Sprout

This makes brewing a natural add-on to roaming. If your route already crosses grass or sand areas, watch for plant glow instead of treating brewing as a separate grind.

When Brewing Is Worth It

Brewing is strongest when you already know what your next risk is:

  • use Clarifying Tea before gun-heavy routes or Can Quest attempts
  • use Refreshing Tea before long chase routes or repeated dashes
  • use Toughening Tea before contested encounter farming
  • use Invigorating Tea when you need extra sustain while roaming
  • use Spicy Tea only when the speed boost is worth the HP cost

If you are still learning basic money routes, Fishing and Enemies are easier first systems. Brewing becomes more valuable once you can intentionally route around campsites.
