Brewing
Brewing stations, tea plants, brewed tea effects, and plant routes in Bridger Western.
Brewing is a field-gathering system built around glowing tea plants and kettles near campsites. It is not a replacement for core gear, but the tea effects are strong enough to matter before planned fights, long routes, or risky encounter farming.
How Brewing Works
- Find a tea plant around the map.
- Carry the plant to a campsite kettle.
- Interact with the kettle while holding the plant.
- Wait for the kettle to boil.
- Interact again to collect the brewed tea.
Brewing plants have a subtle glow, which makes them easier to spot while roaming.

Tea Plant Locations
Available plants are split by environment.
| Environment | Plants |
|---|---|
| Grass | Deerheart Root, Turtleshell Stem, Hawkeye Herb |
| Sand | Sunblessed Leaf, Reservoir Root, Hellfire Sprout |
This makes brewing a natural add-on to roaming. If your route already crosses grass or sand areas, watch for plant glow instead of treating brewing as a separate grind.
Brewed Tea Effects
| Plant | Tea | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Deerheart Root | Invigorating Tea | restores a small amount of HP and gives passive regeneration |
| Turtleshell Stem | Toughening Tea | reduces incoming damage |
| Hawkeye Herb | Clarifying Tea | increases firearm accuracy |
| Reservoir Root | Refreshing Tea | restores around 40% stamina |
| Hellfire Sprout | Spicy Tea | gives a slight speed boost, but costs 10% HP through tick damage |
| Sunblessed Leaf | none yet | not brewable yet; no confirmed use |
Grass Plants
Deerheart Root
Deerheart Root brews Invigorating Tea, which restores a small amount of HP and adds passive regeneration.

Turtleshell Stem
Turtleshell Stem brews Toughening Tea, which reduces incoming damage.

Hawkeye Herb
Hawkeye Herb brews Clarifying Tea, which increases firearm accuracy.

Sand Plants
Sunblessed Leaf
Sunblessed Leaf is part of the plant pool, but it is not brewable yet. Treat it as a hold item until its use is confirmed.

Reservoir Root
Reservoir Root brews Refreshing Tea, which restores around 40% stamina.

Hellfire Sprout
Hellfire Sprout brews Spicy Tea, which gives a slight speed boost but deals about 10% HP as tick damage.

When Brewing Is Worth It
Brewing is strongest when you already know what your next risk is:
- use Clarifying Tea before gun-heavy routes or Can Quest attempts
- use Refreshing Tea before long chase routes or repeated dashes
- use Toughening Tea before contested encounter farming
- use Invigorating Tea when you need extra sustain while roaming
- use Spicy Tea only when the speed boost is worth the HP cost
If you are still learning basic money routes, Fishing and Enemies are easier first systems. Brewing becomes more valuable once you can intentionally route around campsites.
