NPCs and Quests
Main quest NPCs, special questlines, and the most important progression NPCs in Sailor Piece.
NPCs organize almost every part of Sailor Piece. The main quest route moves through island quest NPCs, while special NPCs unlock systems such as haki, artifacts, blessings, ascensions, boss summoning, and mastery upgrades.
This page keeps that structure simple:
- the main quest NPC chain
- the most important special quest NPCs
- the utility and progression NPCs that matter most outside the basic quest route
Main quest route
The main quest route currently runs from Starter Island into the later islands in a clear sequence. If you want the cleanest progression path, these are the NPCs that matter first.
| NPC | Island | Quest | Level range | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter Island | Thief Hunter | 0 - 99 | 250 cash, 315.7K Exp | |
| Starter Island | Thief Boss | 100 - 249 | 400 Cash, 612.2K Exp | |
| Jungle Island | Monkey Hunter | 250 - 499 | 1.2K Cash, 13.7M Exp | |
| Jungle Island | Monkey Boss | 500 - 749 | 2K Cash, 25.5M Exp | |
| Desert Island | Desert Bandit Hunter | 750 - 999 | 3K Cash, 79.6M Exp | |
| Desert Island | Desert Bandit Boss | 1000 - 1499 | 4.2K Cash, 136.2M Exp | |
| Snow Island | Frost Rogue Hunter | 1500 - 1999 | 6K Cash, 268.8M Exp | |
| Snow Island | Winter Warden Boss | 2000 - 2999 | 9K Cash, 452.6M Exp | |
| Shibuya Station | Sorcerer Hunter | 3000 - 3999 | 12.5K Cash, 811.6M Exp | |
| Shibuya Station | Panda Sorcerer | 4000 - 5000 | 17.5K Cash, 1.2B Exp | |
| Hueco Mundo | Hollow Hunter | 5500 - 6250 | 20K gold, 16 gems, 1.4B Exp | |
| Shinjuku Island | Strong Sorcerer Hunter | 6250 - 7000 | 25K gold, 25 gems, 1.8B Exp | |
| Shinjuku Island | Curse Hunter | 7000 - 8000 | 30K gold, 30 gems, 2.3B Exp | |
| Slime Island | Slime Warrior Hunter | 8000 - 9000 | 37.5K gold, 38 gems, 3B Exp | |
| Academy Island | Defeat 5 Academy Teacher | 9000 - 10000 | 45K Money, 45 Gems, 3.8B Exp |
The structure stays consistent for most of the route: one island, one or two main quest NPCs, then a move to the next island once your current quest range is finished.
What these quest NPCs tell you
The quest route also shows the broader shape of progression:
- Starter, Jungle, and Desert handle the opening route
- Snow Island and Shibuya Station start mixing quest flow with major progression systems
- Hueco Mundo, Shinjuku Island, Slime Island, and Academy Island push the late quest path further
- rewards start adding gems alongside money and experience in later stages
That is why the main quest route should stay at the center of your progression until you have a clear reason to break away from it.
Important special quest NPCs
These NPCs do not replace the main quest route, but they add major side progression, mastery upgrades, or event-specific rewards.
Haki quest NPCs
| NPC | Island | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Snow Island | Unlocks the Armament Haki questline | |
| Desert Island | Opens the Observation Haki path | |
| Shibuya Station | Unlocks the long Conqueror Haki questline |
The Haki Trainer path is one of the first special questlines most players will care about beyond the main route.
Haki Trainer requirements
| Cost | Value |
|---|---|
| Money | 250K Coins |

| Snow Island | Buffs Ragna Sword damage by 35% | |
| Hueco Mundo | Buffs Aizen's sword damage by 30% | |
| Slime Island | Buffs Rimuru damage by 30% and unlocks F skill |
These questlines are much heavier than the main quest route. They ask for things like NPC kills, boss kills, player kills, damage milestones, race or title requirements, and dungeon clears.
Event and special item quest NPCs
| NPC | Island | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Christmas Island | Rewards Santa Hat and Santa Helper | |
| Valentine Island | Rewards Valentine Heart and Cupid's Chosen | |
| Academy Island | Unlocks access to Calamity Seal from mobs | |
Shrine Domain Shard Npc | Shinjuku Island | Crafts Shrine Domain Shard |

Strongest In History Mastery NPC | Shinjuku Island | Gives 30% Sukuna V2 damage boost and F skill |
Strongest Of Today Mastery NPC | Shinjuku Island | Gives 30% Gojo V2 damage boost and F skill |
These are not general opening NPCs. They matter once you are already chasing a specific event reward, weapon evolution path, or late-game mastery route.
Important utility and progression NPCs
Not every important NPC gives a quest directly. Some of the most useful NPCs are there to manage items, stats, bosses, or progression systems.
Early and general utility
| NPC | Island | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Starter Island | Tests damage output | |
| Starter Island | Gives one-time group reward access | |
| Boss Island | Uses Boss Keys to summon bosses | |
| Boss Island | Exchanges Boss Tickets for specific rewards |
Build and account management
| NPC | Island | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Shibuya Station | Enchants accessories using materials | |
| Shibuya Station | Blesses swords and melees | |
Trait Master Npc | Sailor Island | Uses Trait Rerolls |
Storage Keeper Npc | Sailor Island | Stores races, traits, and fruits |
Titles NPC | Sailor Island | Equips titles |
Stat Master | Sailor Island | Rerolls stats with gems |
Merchant Npc | Sailor Island | Sells random items on a timed restock |
System unlock NPCs
| NPC | Island | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Snow Island | Unlocks artifacts | |
| Snow Island | Tracks artifact milestone progress | |
Dungeons | Dungeon-related unlock path | Spawns Shadow Dungeon or Rune Dungeon after puzzle unlock |
| Sailor Island | Starts ascend questlines |
These NPCs are part of the bigger progression stack. They are important, but they should not distract you from the main quest route too early.
What to prioritize first
If you are still in the early or mid route, the priority order should stay simple:
- current quest NPC
- boss tied to that quest stage
- Haki Trainer path when you are ready for it
- system NPCs such as Artifacts, Blessing, Enchanter, and Ascensions after the main route is stable
This keeps the page practical. The game has many NPCs, but only a small number matter at any given stage.
