NPCs and Quests

Main quest NPCs, special questlines, and the most important progression NPCs in Sailor Piece.

Updated Apr 7, 2026

NPCs organize almost every part of Sailor Piece. The main quest route moves through island quest NPCs, while special NPCs unlock systems such as haki, artifacts, blessings, ascensions, boss summoning, and mastery upgrades.

This page keeps that structure simple:

  • the main quest NPC chain
  • the most important special quest NPCs
  • the utility and progression NPCs that matter most outside the basic quest route

Main quest route

The main quest route currently runs from Starter Island into the later islands in a clear sequence. If you want the cleanest progression path, these are the NPCs that matter first.

The structure stays consistent for most of the route: one island, one or two main quest NPCs, then a move to the next island once your current quest range is finished.

What these quest NPCs tell you

The quest route also shows the broader shape of progression:

  • Starter, Jungle, and Desert handle the opening route
  • Snow Island and Shibuya Station start mixing quest flow with major progression systems
  • Hueco Mundo, Shinjuku Island, Slime Island, and Academy Island push the late quest path further
  • rewards start adding gems alongside money and experience in later stages

That is why the main quest route should stay at the center of your progression until you have a clear reason to break away from it.

Important special quest NPCs

These NPCs do not replace the main quest route, but they add major side progression, mastery upgrades, or event-specific rewards.

Haki quest NPCs

Snow IslandUnlocks the Armament Haki questline
Desert IslandOpens the Observation Haki path
Shibuya StationUnlocks the long Conqueror Haki questline

The Haki Trainer path is one of the first special questlines most players will care about beyond the main route.

These are not general opening NPCs. They matter once you are already chasing a specific event reward, weapon evolution path, or late-game mastery route.

Important utility and progression NPCs

Not every important NPC gives a quest directly. Some of the most useful NPCs are there to manage items, stats, bosses, or progression systems.

These NPCs are part of the bigger progression stack. They are important, but they should not distract you from the main quest route too early.

What to prioritize first

If you are still in the early or mid route, the priority order should stay simple:

  1. current quest NPC
  2. boss tied to that quest stage
  3. Haki Trainer path when you are ready for it
  4. system NPCs such as Artifacts, Blessing, Enchanter, and Ascensions after the main route is stable

This keeps the page practical. The game has many NPCs, but only a small number matter at any given stage.

  • Islands for island order and progression hubs
  • Enemies and Bosses for enemy and boss flow
  • Beginner Guide if you want the simpler first-hour version of this page
